This is your room key, park ticket, and way to make purchases throughout the resort. Guests that have a Disney Resort hotel guests qualify for the discount 6 or more days prior to their Resort hotel reservation. Purchasing a Magicband is optional, but the alternative is carrying around a ticket that resembles a credit card and are easily lost.
